Social Media Account Director £45k, London

We’re looking for Social Media / Word of Mouth Account Director for an exciting new client. They’re a leading Word of Mouth Agency based in Central London who are responsible for engaging with customers and building online presence and drawing in traffic for the biggest brands in the UK and Worldwide.

The Account Director will be responsible for researching & engaging with consumers via a number of new media and social media channels. You will have experience working in a corporate environment with Social Media including Linkedin, Twitter, Xing, Plaxo and have worked in a marketing capacity for and agency or with some great blue chip brands.

Duties:
-Developing innovative and creative ideas and solutions for client campaigns
-Building client relationships; listen and understand individual client requirements and consistently meeting if not exceeding their expectations; understand their brand(s) and customers
-Maximising revenue from client
-Presenting to clients and attending client meetings and events
-Monitoring and understanding your clients’ markets; be aware of market issues and competitive activity
-Manage client reviews with senior clients
-Managing a team to deliver effective performance from all levels
-Creating project briefs; brief and work with members of the wider team to develop an idea; presenting and selling that idea to the client
-Creating project plans and project specification documents
-Producing accurate costs estimates, and ensures they are signed off by the client before work proceeds
-Ensuring that campaigns run to agreed client budgets and clients approve all expenditure before it happens, particularly unexpected expenditure
-Ensuring campaigns are efficiently delivered to exceptional standards, on time and in budget
-Working with Finance to ensure invoices are paid on time
-Keeping up to date with timesheets and expenses claims
-The overall quality of the final deliverable on projects that you manage

Skills/experience required:
-An understanding of social media and word of mouth is essential; how it works and the extent to which consumer conversation impacts major brands
-A strong background of account management ideally within a new media environment
-Experience of working with blue chip organisations and of managing an international client base
-Experience managing a team effectively to achieve results from all levels
-Able to effectively manage client relationships while delivering projects to the highest standard, on time and to budget
-The ability to analyse and resolve problems quickly and effectively
-Able to interact with people at all levels demonstrating tact, diplomacy, discretion and maturity
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-The ability to work under pressure whilst keeping an eye for detail

We’re looking for someone that’s passionate about engaging with customers! A talented PR / Marketing manager that will conduct detailed consumer research, understand how your blogs, discussions and tweets will impact traffic and the brand of their client and ultimately utilise the tools available to drive conversation about a brand or product.

Salary in the region of £35-45,000

We’re looking for a Social Media Account Director for an exciting new client; a market leading Global Integrated Media agency based in Central London. They’re established in providing brand transforming integrated marketing and advertising communications and increasingly as a premier level Digital projects. They’re looking to build a Social Media team that fits alongside and complements the digital offering, a team that will liaise with planners, strategists formulating social media campaigns to a platter of exciting and enormous brands including Adidas, Kellogg’s and Famous Grouse.

We’re looking for Social Media Account Director to build and lead a team of Execs working on social media projects that integrate to the rest of the business, working on some of the biggest and most exciting brands and leading up to and through the 2012 Olympics. You will be responsible for formulating and implementing creative strategy, the cornerstone of the strategy should largely be around social media channles that exist already (facebook, youtube, twitter etc) as well as new projects that can built along the way. Everything we do should revolve around how we provide content and create experiences for consumers. Every brief should run through this lens.

Produce digital community development strategy:
- Managing Account Managers, Creative teams and Community Executives.
- Developing innovative and creative ideas and solutions for client campaigns.

- Manage internal relationships to ensure that all KPIs for accounts are hit, and to ensure that campaigns run smoothly and effectively.

-Ensure all interesting and relevant content reaches communities

Create a streamlined user experience for UK based community members:
-Build Communications Calendar to ensure that all events/comms are promoted appropriately
-Build relationship with global team / PR (internal and external) / trend team
-Develop personal tone with community; humanise correspondence
-Ensure Facebook is destination for all appropriate comms

Provide insight into effectiveness of our social marketing and monitor social buzz generated through Marketing / Comms / PR.
-Effectiveness reported through use of buzz monitoring tools & -Identify key brand ambassadors.
-Monitor relevant trends and competitor behaviour and report impact of social media on overall marketing campaign
-Research social media tools that can benefit the brand and implement where appropriate
-Maintain knowledge of Facebook product developments, working with product development team to produce/develop tools where possible
-Influence overall company and business strategies by promoting adoption of social/community driven marketing

We’re looking for bright candidates with experience work working on large scales Social Media campaigns, and experience formulating and implementing creative strategy. To make this strategy really pay dividends, we need dedicated resource to manage content and create experiences in order to build a community. As a ‘Social Media Brand Manager’ will be able to working independently planning and implementing social media campaigns from the outset and will be a real social network “enthusiast”. You will have previous digital marketing agency experience and a passion for returning quality projects that utilise the ever developing range of tools available in the social media space.

From day one you will be expected to be at the heart of the full life cycle of social media campaigns.

As such you need to show us demonstrable experience of:

Social Media Senior Account Manager (Social PR) £30k, London

We’re working with a dynamic digitally savvy PR company based in the heart of London, working with range of leading brands across music & media, drinks, automotive, health and beauty industries. They’re experienced in engagement on behalf of their clients and increasingly take on briefs of the back of their digital and social media experience and ability to generate conversation online and take that excitement offline.

Their social media team is expanding and they’re looking to recruit an SAM who can span social media and traditional media. Broadly, they will work on social media campaigns for beauty brands (beauty experience great but not mandatory) and across several other accounts in the agency (likely to be BSM, Freeview, T4 on the Beach, Sailor Jerry).

Specifically, they’re looking for:
• 3- 4 years’ consumer PR/online PR/social media experience.
• Demonstrable knowledge of social media – being personally into it as well as professionally.
• Great understanding of online media.
• Experience of running consumer PR campaigns for brands.
• Great media contacts.
• Well connected and knowledgeable.
• Proven creativity and ability to articulate ideas.
